The thematic tracts of the conference are

•  Cultural and social-economical contexts of child and family vulnerability.

•  HIV/AIDS socioeconomic and psychological impacts on children and families.

•  Gender inequalities and access to prevention, health care and treatments.

•  Stigma and social aspects of prevention, voluntary test, health care and treatments.

•  The burden of HIV/AIDS in health systems and the private sector involvement in the fight against AIDS.

•  International/national policies and community and family responses.

•  Nutrition, food supply and social aspects of parent to child transmission.

•  Behavioral and structural change, intervention follow-up and evaluation.

•  Behavior surveillance and socio-cultural aspects of epidemiological surveillance.

•  Ethical and legal issues related to children's rights.

Note : Papers on topics not on the list will also be considered.
