RESULTS

- To use the collected results of various African research sites in order to initiate pertinent, local strategies, to fuel a comparative analyation and to construct research models and interventions.

- To reinforce the SAHARA network and to initiate activities in which other individuals and organizations can unite to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa and the world.

- To announce new outlooks in the fight against HIV/AIDS in conjunction with eminent researchers and program representatives, members of the private sector, United Nations representatives and health development organizations.

- Government representatives will also be invited in order to assure the integration of the view points in their political agendas.

- Apart from the presentations of the experienced researchers concerning questions associated with HIV/AIDS in Africa , a research link concerning a practical plan of action will permit the realisation of prevention strategies and the way in which they will be integrated into communities, into the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS and into all of the susceptible, mobilized resources.
